Carlsbad community members interested in knowing more about the city’s budget and what is proposed for the fiscal year that starts July 1 have two upcoming opportunities:

Community budget workshop

At the community workshop June 1, city staff will present the preliminary budget in a more informal setting and be available to answer questions and listen to feedback. All the input gathered will be provided to the City Council to consider before approving the final budget, currently scheduled for the June 13 City Council meeting.

The preliminary budget is available for review on the city’s website. A hard copy will also be available in the Office of the City Clerk, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, and at the Faraday Administration Building, 1635 Faraday Ave starting starting Friday, May 19.
