Coastal restoration grants awarded
On Tuesday, the Carlsbad City Council awarded $373,687 in grants to support certain agricultural, coastal or wetland restoration projects that enhance quality of life in Carlsbad, including a “living shoreline” project that will restore a section of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon.
School traffic safety partnerships
As part of the City of Carlsbad’s ongoing traffic safety efforts, the city is partnering with local schools to raise awareness of the rules of the road. Through these partnerships, students of all ages are learning how to stay safe on the road.
