The Cultural Arts office strives to enhance the vitality of the city and the quality of life of all residents by supporting an environment where arts and cultural organizations thrive, and people of all ages enjoy opportunities for expression and lifelong learning.

Performing arts programs are generously funded by the Carlsbad Library and Arts Foundation, the Carlsbad Friends of the Arts and the Robert H. Gartner Cultural Endowment Fund.

TGIF Concerts in the Parks 

TGIF Concerts in the Parks is one of Carlsbad’s longest running and most highly attended FREE summer traditions. Appropriate for attendees of all ages, these concerts combine great music in the setting of four beautiful parks. Click on the link for updates and schedules as they become available.
