Homebound seniors in Carlsbad who are age 60 and over and meet the qualifications are provided a healthy meal delivered to their home. Meals are delivered daily Monday through Friday.

To qualify, the participant must be incapable of doing two of the following on their own: eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, walking or transferring in and out of bed. Please fill out the County of San Diego Home-Delivered Meals intake form and return in person or by email.

Please contact us by phone at 442-339-2650 for an initial assessment. An in-home visit will occur within two weeks of the initial assessment. Clients are visited quarterly to assess continued qualification for the program. 

There is a suggested voluntary donation of $5.00 per meal.

No eligible person shall be denied a meal because of failure or inability to contribute.

This program is federally funded from the Older American’s Act, through Aging and Independence Service, the City of Carlsbad and through donations.
