Veterans Memorial Park

A master plan has been developed for Veterans Memorial Park. The city will now complete detailed design and construction plans for the park, following the uses identified in the master plan. This future regional park is located on the north side of Faraday Avenue, just east of Cannon Road. The park is expected to be complete in spring 2025.

Village H South off-leash dog area and trail

In addition to the existing Village H trails, the city developed plans to add an off-leash dog area, parking lot and restroom near the southwest corner of Carlsbad Village Drive and Victoria Avenue. In 2022, City Council directed staff to put the planned improvements on hold to focus on other priority projects. City staff will retain the work completed to date, including the detailed designs and initial construction plans. For more information, visit the project webpage

Robertson Ranch Park 

This 11.2-acre future park will be located near the intersection of El Camino Real and Cannon Road. The city is beginning the planning process in summer 2023 by seeking input from the community on the park’s design and features.
