With warmer weather and longer days just around the corner, the City of Carlsbad has a wide variety of classes and programs for all ages. From spring break camps to sports leagues to senior programs, there’s something for everyone.  

The complete program schedule is now available in the city’s Spring Community Services Guide online. Registration opens Feb. 15 for programs including:

Aquatics (swim lessons, lifeguard training, aquatic fitness) 
Martial Arts (Karate)
Mind/body wellness (yoga, tai-chi, aerobics, cooking)
Dance (Latin, social, club, country line, teen cardio)
Sports (tennis, volleyball, basketball, pickleball)
Sports leagues (soccer, basketball, kickball, softball)
Adults 50+
Special interest classes for youth
Spring break camps

In addition, the city offers programs such as L.I.T.E. – Leadership in Training & Education, an after-school program designed to provide younger teens in grades 6–9 a place to come and learn essential life skills in a fun and safe environment. We focus on career builders, communication, community service, finances, college, team builders and leadership. Daily homework assistance is also provided.
