The City Council consists of an elected mayor and four elected council members. Each serves a four-year term.

The Mayor is elected by voters citywide. City Council members are elected by district.

City Council meetings

The City Council generally meets three times a month on Tuesdays. Meeting agendas are posted at least 72 hours prior to each regularly scheduled Council meeting and at least 24 hours prior to each Special Council meeting.
