November 2024 General Municipal Election

The City Clerk's Office is responsible for holding local elections. City Council members serve staggered four year terms. The City Clerk and City Treasurer are also elected positions in Carlsbad.

The City of Carlsbad will be holding an election on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 to fill the following seats:

• City Council Member - District 2
• City Council Member - District 4
