The city's TGIF Concerts in the Parks won nationwide recognition as one of the top 5 outdoor concert series in the country by USA TODAY’s 10Best's 2023 Readers' Choice Awards, landing in fourth place.
TGIF Concerts in the Parks is one of Carlsbad’s longest running and most highly attended free summer traditions. Appropriate for attendees of all ages, these concerts combine great music in the setting of beautiful parks throughout the city.
The concert series dates and locations for this summer are:
- Stagecoach Community Park: July 7 & 14
- Poinsettia Community Park: July 21
- Calavera Hills Community Park: July 28
- Alga Norte Community Park: Aug. 4 & 11
