October is Arts and Humanities Month and the City of Carlsbad is celebrating with some great activities to help enrich and connect our community. Supporting the arts, history and cultural resources is one of nine core values in Carlsbad’s Community Vision.
Here are five ways you can add some art, creativity and learning to your life this month in Carlsbad:
1. See some great films at our Cinema Club

International Film Fridays

Theatrical Wednesday Film Series

The films are free and seating is first come first served.
The artists use color, line and pattern to create movement, along with the juxtaposition of organic shapes and textural elements.
The gallery is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, noon – 5 p.m. and Wednesday, noon – 7 p.m. Admission is free.
