- The City of Carlsbad is replacing approximately 4,400 linear feet of aging potable water pipelines at six locations near the downtown Village, neighborhoods near Carlsbad State Beach and Terramar areas.
- This work is part of the city’s ongoing program to increase water flow and reliability, reduce repair needs and minimize the chances of breakage and/or shutdowns in the future.
- Potable water service will continue, though there may be temporary water disruptions.
- Work is expected to occur in phases through summer 2024. Each location is expected to take between two and four months to be complete.
