Preliminary local data (February 2023)

According to preliminary data from the Carlsbad Police Department, unsafe speed was also the top cause of local collisions in February 2023. The report is just a preliminary snapshot of one month, but it highlights why it’s so important to drive safely, slow down and remove distractions. 

There were 51 total injury collisions in February 2023. Of those collisions, most were between more than one car.
