    Officers arrest two for robbery at Daniel's Jewelers

    On September 7, at 4:07 p.m., the City of Carlsbad Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery that just occurred at Danielā€™s Jewelers, located at 2525 El Camino Real.

    Council ratifies local traffic safety emergency

    The Carlsbad City Council voted to allocate $2 million in funding for immediate traffic safety efforts and ratified last weekā€™s proclamation of local emergency, following an over 200% increase in collisions involving bikes and e-bikes since 2019.
