We are proud to be a Tree City USA for the 20th consecutive year! Help us celebrate tomorrow at our Arbor Day event from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Weāll work together to plant trees at The Crossings Golf Course. ā¶ļøEvent will include a tree-planting demonstration and informational booths ā¶ļøVolunteers should check in with Sarah at the Parks & Recreation table at the back of The Crossings Golf Course parking lot. ā¶ļøTools will be provided; volunteers should wear work gloves, a hat, sunscreen and closed toe shoes ā¶ļøPlease park alongside the street on The Crossings Drive, not inside The Crossings Golf Course parking lot šRSVP to sarah.czech@carlsbadca.gov

Yesterday, the California Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control announced the first confirmed case of COVID-19 caused by the new Omicron variant was detected in the U.S. in Northern California. The individual was a traveler who had returned from South Africa last week.
