Join us to create a colorful and unique Artist Book Scroll! 

Date: Saturday, April 9 
Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Location: The Children's Garden at the Dove Library, 1775 Dove Lane, Carlsbad

Participants will:

• Visit the amazing exhibit, Reimagined: the Artist's Book, in the Cannon Art Gallery
• Get inspired by the artist's books of local San Diego artist, Judith Christensen
• Explore art elements such as line, shape, texture, and form, while considering the idea of a “book” in a completely different and unexpected format
• Use distinctive and fun materials to draw and write your own imaginative artist book!

All materials are provided on the day of the event and are free!
