Join us to create your own triptych 

A FREE art project and event for all ages and abilities  

The Cannon Art Gallery shares its commitment to fostering the next generation of artists in the new exhibit: Artists Together: Today and Tomorrow. Experience the amazing and varied artworks highlighting the incredible mentorship of the Art Faculty of Mira Costa College. See a wide spectrum of artworks by faculty and selected students, then join us in the Children’s Garden to create a triptych. What’s a triptych? An artwork made up of three sections. You'll use different art materials in each of those sections!  

Date: Saturday, June 18, 2022  
Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  
Location: The Children's Garden at the Dove Library, 1775 Dove Lane, Carlsbad, CA 92011  

Participants will:

• Visit the stunning exhibit, Artists Together: Today and Tomorrow, in the Cannon Art Gallery 
• Get inspired by a multitude of artworks created using a wide array of mediums: painting, printmaking, photography, installation, furniture, and ceramics. 
• Learn and get to know the elements of art: color, line, shape, texture, value, space and form 
• Experience and explore different artist-grade materials while creating your artwork! 
• All materials are provided on the day of the event and are free!  

This exhibition is certain to have something to stimulate everyone’s interest and satisfy their spirit, and the art project will be sure to spark your creativity! 

These interactive arts experiences are presented by the City of Carlsbad’s Cultural Arts Office and are sponsored by the Carlsbad Friends of the Arts.
