Carlsbad City Library's Grow Your Garden program lets you swap succulents, seeds, fruit, vegetables an herbs from your garden with your neighbors and learn new gardening techniques. 

Join us on Aug. 27 at the Dove Library for "Microgreen Ventures". The workshop will be hosted by Patrice Smerdu of the CCGC & Harold E. Smerdu Community Garden). 

A little about Patricia Smerdu: Born and raised in Carlsbad and a life-long gardener, Patrice Smerdu is a Carlsbad Community Gardens board member www.carlsbadcommunitygardens.org, and daughter of the Smerdu Garden namesake.
