We are busy maintaining infrastructure, improving traffic flow and enhancing neighborhood quality of life through a variety of projects happening around town. Carlsbad Blvd and Tamarack intersection

On July 18, the Carlsbad City Council will discuss proposed improvements to safety and mobility at the intersection of Carlsbad Boulevard and Tamarack Avenue.

How to comment

Members of the community may attend this public meeting and provide comment to the City Council. 

Email clerk@carlsbadca.gov  

In person at City Hall, July 18, meeting starts at 5 p.m.  

Next steps: 

  • City Council will review and select the preferred intersection design option
  • The city will complete the final design, conduct an environmental analysis and put the project out to bid.
  • The soonest construction could begin is late 2025. Project construction is expected to take about a year to complete.
