National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and the Carlsbad Police Department while bringing back a true sense of community.

How to participate
- Plan an outside neighborhood gathering like a block party, barbecue, or potluck.
- Invite your neighbors.
- Register your gathering with the Carlsbad Police Department by July 28, 2023.

- The number of adults and children projected to be in attendance
The Police Department will visit your gathering sometime between 5:30 and 9 p.m. Our schedule is based on the number and location of participants. The Fire Department will also visit gatherings as their time and schedule permit.
