Teen programs are dedicated to providing teens with fun, creative and healthy activities in a safe, supervised environment. By taking advantage of opportunities to meet and socialize, teens create friendships that last a lifetime.

L.I.T.E. Leadership in Training & Education Program

L.I.T.E. is an after-school program for Carlsbad 6th to 9th graders who wish to develop skills in leadership, teamwork, communication and community service. The program requires a commitment from participants to attend regularly after school from 3 to 6 p.m. Each month will focus on a different theme like the environment, history, health and goals. LITE is closed during school holidays.

Teen Events

Pumpkin Plunge

  • Date: 10/16/2021 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM  
  • Location: Alga Norte Aquatic Center

  • Introduction: Bring a swim suit and join the Halloween fun at Alga Norte Aquatic Center that transforms into spooky fun with pool activities and games with prizes, and floating obstacles. The Splash Pad will also be open for the little ones.

Admission is $10 per person; children ages 3 and younger are free.

Dry activities include a themed bounce house and the Floating Pumpkin Patch where every child will get to lasso and keep a pumpkin.

The night ends with a special movie presentation of the 2019 animated version of The Addams Family (rated PG) on the giant outdoor movie screen while you float in the water.

Food and beverages are available for purchase at the event.

Online presale will start three weeks before the event and end at noon on Oct 16, or when the event sells out. Save time and avoid lines by picking up event wristbands in advance. Wristbands will be available for pick starting the week before the event and are only available at Alga Norte Aquatics Center during regular business hours.

All sales are final; no refunds. Wristbands that are picked up in advance that are lost or not brought to the event will not be replaced.
