Any inflatables or jump houses at a city facility must be provided by a vendor with approved liability insurance. View a current list of approved vendors.

Pools

Alga Norte Aquatic Center and Monroe Street Pool are available for rent for birthday parties and special events.

Historic sites

• Magee Park has three buildings , a historical rose garden, and the L. John Simons Twin Inns Gazebo that provide a charming atmosphere for any special gathering. Located just one block from the beach, the site is quintessential Carlsbad.
• Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park, located near the intersection of Palomar Airport Rd. and Melrose Dr., hosts dozens of weddings year-round. The unique ambiance of this once-working rancho is enhanced by the many historic structures, stone barbecue, cabana and pool - not to mention being the former home of a real Hollywood movie star.

Weddings

• Leo Carrillo Ranch is a former movie star retreat transformed into a 27-acre historic park. It is enveloped by gorgeous landscaping, scenic trails and roaming peacocks.
• Harding Community Center is located in the heart of historic Carlsbad, blocks away from quaint Carlsbad Village.
• Magee Park boasts Pacific breezes, a beautiful rose garden, lush park open space, the L. John Simons Twin Inns Gazebo, and Craftsman-style buildings that harken to Carlsbad's early days.
• Carlsbad Senior Center is the most versatile facility in the city. Adjacent to Pine Avenue Park, the facility offers a dining room with full-service kitchen, auditorium with stage and top quality A/V system, and ample parking.
