New Teen ProgramsLocated in northwest Carlsbad at the intersection of Pine Avenue and Harding Street, the 8.2-acre park is home to a new inter-generational community center that offers the city's teen programs, youth day camps, classes for all ages, open gym hours and the Senior Center. Located in the historic Barrio neighborhood, the park has special significance to multiple generations of Carlsbad residents as the former site of Pine Elementary School.

Community Center Hours

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday - Sunday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

* Teen Center and gym access could be affected by classes or private rentals.

Dogs and Parks

The City of Carlsbad welcomes dogs at Ann D. L'Heureux Dog Park, Alga Norte Dog Park and Poinsettia Dog Park. Leashed dogs are also allowed on citywide trails. Dogs are not allowed in any other city park or on beaches within the city.

Plastic bag dispensers and receptacles for cleanup are available for your convenience at dog parks and along trails. Please be a good neighbor and clean up after your dog.
