Admission is free
$5 per lantern (no limit per person)
Purchase a lantern a head of time or at the event and design yours with pictures, inspirational messages, poems, thoughts, hopes and/or dreams. At dusk, we will launch the lanterns into the pool while enjoying entertainment including music, performances, and readings.
Lanterns are biodegradable and will not be returned after the events.
Can’t make the event? You can still participate.
Presale Lantern pick up and drop off
If you can’t attend the event but would like to still participate, you can purchase a lantern ahead of time at Alga Norte Aquatics Center (during business hours) starting October 11, take it home to decorate and return it back to Alga Norte Aquatics Center. Be sure to return your lantern by noon on Nov 6, to still be a part of the Festival of Lanterns event.
- Lanterns will not be returned after the event.
- No replacements for lost lanterns.
- Any age can participate.
- No limit on how many lanterns can be purchase.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event.
