The City of Carlsbad Parks & Recreation Department offers a variety of special events for the community to enjoy. The department is responsible for two special events functions: creating special events for the public's enjoyment and event permitting for events on city property.

AMPed Music & Arts Throwdown

AMPED @ Pine is a teen night of creative expression by student artists featuring a music throwdown, student film showcase, art exhibit, and more. High school student artists 14 – 18 years old are invited to apply and compete in the showdown or be featured in the film or art showcase.

Online Application is available here or call 442-339-5022 for more information. Purchase your admission ticket now before they sell out, $5 at the door day of event. 

Student or Driver’s License ID required at the event and for entrance.
