Bike permits for next school year

Carlsbad Unified School District recently announced a new bike permit program for the 2023-24 school year. Students who participate in the classes hosted by the Carlsbad Police Department will get credit from the school district, which is responsible for issuing the permits, tracking participation and enforcing the new program.

As part of the Safer Streets Together emergency response, the Carlsbad Police Department will host more bike safety classes throughout the school year for students who want to receive a bike permit.

Take the Safer Streets Together pledge to make sure you get the latest updates.
