The Alga Norte Aquatic Center located in Alga Norte Community Park offers a 56-meter competition pool, a 25-yard 12-lane instruction pool, a warm water spa for adults, 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, a splash pad for children and a fitness room. Learn more about our Aquatics Programs.

Hours of Operation

Alga Norte instructional pool

The smaller instructional pool at the Alga Norte Aquatic Center reopened on Saturday, Dec. 2. Please email parksandrec@carlsbadca.gov or call the front office at 442-339-5777 to resume a paused pool membership when you wish to return to the aquatic center.

• Weekdays: 6 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• Weekends: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
• Maintenance Hour Closure: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8-9 a.m.
